Lots of people who want to learn to play the actual piano are put off through
the idea of spending long, dull hours learning music information. If you are
serious about learning to perform the piano, the first thing you will have to do
is put all those negative thoughts behind and start having an open mind. It does
take some time and yes, you have to understand the music notes, but it does not
be boring, and it definitely does not have to take forever before you decide to
learn to play on your own. Stick to these seven steps very carefully, and you’ll
be actively playing your first songs independently quickly.
Music notes
may seem unusual now, but so do the letters of the basics when you first
encountered them growing up. Your curiosity and the continuous use of the
written and voiced language around you have equipped your ability to read and
never be scared of written terms when you see them. The same could happen for
music notes. These are the ABC of music, along with constant practice you will
learn in order to sight read them exactly like you are sight reading this info
now. Here goes:
Let us start you off using the popular show tune through
“The Sound of Music” - Do-Re-Mi-Fa-So-La-Ti-Do. You know this -right? Sing it
out noisy. Music notes are noticeable by the letters A W C D E Farrenheit G. The
show melody will be used to help you get the presentation of the notes as well
as to understand the keys.
That note down the middle of the staff is Middle D. Position
yourself in the middle of your own piano, and let’s discover Middle C and learn
the actual piano keys.
Tip: The actual notes on the Treble Explication
(top) are the higher presentation notes and those on the Largemouth bass Clef
(bottom) are the reduced pitch. The treble explication notes (higher notes)
match with the keys going to the correct of Middle C and they are often played
with the right hands unless the music piece needs otherwise.
Getting Familiar with the actual Piano Keys
The dark keys are used to play the system known as sharp (#) as well as flat (b) notes and search in groups of twos as well as threes. Look for the group of five black keys (1 group of 3 and one associated with 2) that are in the center of your own piano.
